The Marian is made from Capim Dourado, a natural grass found only in the Brazilian, known as vegetable gold. Its colour is not applied. It is the material itself, in its most honest form.

Rigid, circular, sculptural. The spiral weave creates a surface that catches light differently with every movement. The handle is woven from the same Capim Dourado, a single material, from base to arch.

A piece that exists nowhere else. Because the material only exists in one place.

Craft & Process

The Marian is handwoven in Capim Dourado — a rare natural grass harvested sustainably in Brazil. The spiral weaving technique requires patience and precision: each strand is placed by hand, building the circular form from the centre outward. No dyes, no treatments. The gold is entirely natural. No two pieces are ever exactly the same.
