The Bertha is Capim Dourado in its most architectural form. A rectangular body with braided borders, a circular handle woven from the same golden grass, and a zip closure at the top.

The gold is not a finish. It is the material itself — what Brazilians call ouro vegetal. Naturally luminous. Chemically untouched.

Craft & Process

The Bertha is handwoven in Capim Dourado — a rare natural grass known as vegetable gold. The braided borders and circular handle are worked separately, then joined by hand to the body. The zip is set into the top edge by a skilled artisan. No dyes, no treatments. The gold is entirely natural. No two pieces are ever exactly the same.
